You know what happens, in what order, and what it costs before anything touches your scalp.
We look at your hair loss, your skin and the look you’re after. You leave knowing exactly what your treatment involves and what it will cost.
Your hairline is drawn to suit your face, and nothing goes in until you approve it. The first pass is deliberately light — it keeps the result natural and shows how your skin takes the pigment.
Each layer adds density and refines the tone. Spacing is set for your skin at your consultation.
Simple aftercare, a healed check, and a colour-up years down the line whenever it softens.

Four years in scalp micropigmentation, most of them in a Wellington clinic, now working under his own name. Every client is his own work, start to finish — the consultation, the hairline, every session and the healed check.
Every treatment is quoted for you. Three questions and a photo from your phone, and Ryno comes back with a plan and a price.
Yes. Pigment is layered in several tones to match your shaved hair colour and skin, and the hairline is designed around your face. Every photo on this page is a real client of Ryno’s.
Most clients describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful — closer to a light scratching than a tattoo. If pain is a worry, say so at your consultation and Ryno will talk you through it before you book.
For hairline and full-scalp work, yes. Hair is always more dominant than pigment, so a close shave keeps the result symmetrical and natural. Density work is different: on thinning hair, and for most female clients, the pigment sits between your existing hair to take away the see-through look, and you keep wearing it at the length you like.
It is long-lasting. Done properly it softens gradually over the years and a colour-up session brings it back to crisp.
No. Properly placed pigment simply fades with time. Blue and green comes from untrained technicians using the wrong pigment or depth, and then has to be removed.
That is set for you at your consultation. It depends on your skin, the area being treated and how dark you want to go, and it is mapped out before you commit to anything.
